These terms apply when you buy from this store. Please read them before you order. Nothing in them reduces the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

1. Who you are buying from

2. Using this store

You agree not to misuse the store: no scraping it at volume, no attempting to interfere with it, no copying our text, images or product photography for your own commercial use. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live to place an order.

3. Products and descriptions

We describe our shears as accurately as we can, including steel grade, hardness, blade geometry and dimensions. Photographs are of the product but screens vary, and finish is hand-applied, so small variation between pieces is normal rather than a fault. Where a specification matters to you, ask us to confirm it before ordering and we will.

4. Prices, currency and taxes

Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and exclude any duties or taxes that apply to your destination, which are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but never for an order we have already accepted.

5. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our acceptance happens when we send you a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot accept an order — for example a pricing error, a stock error, or a failed fraud check — we will contact you and refund any payment in full.

6. Payment

Payment is taken through our payment providers. We never receive or store your full card details. Title to the goods passes to you when we have received payment in full.

7. Shipping, risk and duties

Stock items are dispatched within 48 hours of a cleared order. Items made to your specification, or personalised with your name or logo, are made to order and take longer — the lead time is stated before you order. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees; see shipping & returns for current transit times. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If you are a consumer, risk passes when the goods come into your physical possession.

8. Returns and cancellation

• You may return an unused shear in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund.
• If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you additionally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. That right does not apply to personalised or engraved items.

9. Warranty

Our edge warranty and free first sharpening are set out on the edge warranty page. They are offered in addition to, and do not replace, your statutory rights.

10. Intellectual property

The fusheart name and logo, our product photography, our copy and the design of this store belong to us or our licensors. You may not use them without our written permission.

11. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses such as lost profit, unless you bought from us as a business and we agreed otherwise in writing. We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

12. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by something beyond our reasonable control — carrier strikes, customs action, natural events — but we will tell you promptly and do what we can to reduce the effect.

13. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of [governing law jurisdiction]. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country in which you live.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
